Blaxland
Blaxland is a thriving community around one hours drive from Sydney . With churches, shopping centre, community groups, a library, childrens play centres, bush fire brigade, chamber of commerce and a small industrial area.
Emu Plains
While there are no emus to be seen today, history tells us that emus once roamed the area, hence the name Emu Plains. Emu Plains is the first town on the western side of the Nepean River located at the foot of the Blue Mountains and is part of the city of Penrith.
Glenbrook
The Blue Mountains town of Glenbrook has so much to offer. Fresh air, wonderful bush walks, a great community atmosphere, spectacular views, and a temperate climate. Glenbrook is the first entry point to the Blue Mountains National Park which is where you will find Jelly Bean Pool, the famous Blue Pool, Euroka clearing, Red Hands Cave and Glenbrook Gorge. If you are into mountain bike riding then the Woodford to Glenbrook track is one of the classic Blue Mountains tracks.
Penrith City
Penrith City is a great place to live. Situated on the western fringe of the Sydney Metropolitan area, in east central NSW, Australia . Penrith is approximately 54km by road west of Sydney and was the host city to the rowing and canoe venues for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. A rapidly expanding new suburb offering extensive landscaped garden entries.
Springwood
Famous for the bush walks and the nearby home and gallery of Australian artist Norman Lindsey, Springwood, the second largest town in the mountains is located approximately 74 km from Sydney and is 371 mt above sea level. It is a vibrant mountain town with recreational, social, cultural, sporting and educational facilities for everyone, with the added advantage of a mild climate, fresh mountain air and lovely mountain scenery.
